Justin Ong, Will You Go To Prom With Me?
    Original Plan:
    1. Arrive at UCI with Nicole Shimoda at about 4:30 just in time to catch him after his class ended.
    2. Have Nicole give him a surprise visit and "pretend" that she's eager to go shopping with him.
    3. While Nicole and Justin are shopping...I'll decorate his hallway with old pictures from previous dances.
    4. Have Nicole and Justin drive back from the mall and go back to his dorm where he'll see the the hallway and realize that his girlfriend is asking him to prom.
What actually happened was the plan actually didnt go as planned AT ALL. Except the whole arriving at 4:30 part but that was about it! Anyways, here are pictures for your entertainment and they go in order:

HAHAHA...Justin's reaction when he got to the hallway..."what?! They decorated the hall without me?". Then he notices the picture of us from Homecoming 2004 and then he realized what was happening. LOL. Silly boyfriend.

  • A Year with the Like of My Life
    (Happy Valentines Day)
    By: Justin Ong

March on the arches of your heart,  impervious to the divergence of its curves
April showers empower towers of flowers, all in which you deserve
May I have your hand in marriage, a supposed proposal I might say one day
June bugs  sing in the spring,  just another thing that lingers under the sun’s rays
July magnifies bright skies to die for, lurking with fireworks
August was named after Julius Caesar’s adopted son who went politically berserk
September’s embers should be remembered because it burns to return to another school year
October gleams with costume reams, Halloween  beams  trick or treat fear
November’s living banks Thanksgiving, the tryptophan of turkey makes you listless
December’s specific to a never ending wish list  but it is better to give than receive on Christmas
January adheres to steer clear into a new year on the first, also the month of Cindy’s Birth
February furls boys and girls to show love in girth, a world of drums, kit kats, skating, and basketball couldn’t match your worth…

To me on this day, your smile bright like sun rays, we share fun days, even though no one pays on Sundays
Because I’m more than happy just sitting in your living room space
in complete silence making each other laugh with expressions of the face.
Our inside jokes provoke richness like the yolk of an egg, when wrestling we bend legs, begging  who’s the master.
The breathing gets faster, but  so does the laughter.
Who wins? I guess we’ll argue it over dinner.

But honestly, just to know that you are my girlfriend, I know that I am the real winner.
A taste of your smile makes my heart race wild, worth while is waiting 7th period to see you for 15 minutes
To begin it from the start, you’re a real sweetheart, as if you took your love muscle and put sugar in it.
We  experienced rough seas, you and me sailing in the rain aboard a wetter raft
Despite the pain, we got through it,. Now it’s  the past. a stronger relationship exists. You’re my better half
My girlfriend until the world ends, a dozen roses I send
I’m like dominoes I can fall for you again and again
You lift me up like a feather in weather that’s windy,
My valentine for two years strong is Cindy

...thank you Justin Ong for fulfilling my life with happiness every moment that I speak to you, every moment that you're here by my side, and even when we're apart. You mean the world to me and I like you SO much! I could really fall in love with you..

  • Dance with My Father Again

Back when I was a child
Before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high
And dance with my momma and me and then
Spin me around till I fell, fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure, I was loved.

If I could get another chance
Another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love, love, love to dance with my father again.

When I and my momma would disagree
To get my way I would run from her to him
He'd make me laugh just to comfort me (ooh)
And finally make me do just what my mother said
Later that night when I was asleep
He left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me.

If I could steal one final glance,
One final step, one final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
'Cause I'd love, love, love to dance with my father again.

Sometimes I'd listen outside her door
And I'd hear my momma cry for him
I'd pray for her even more than me
I'd pray for her even more.

I know I'm praying for much too much
But could you send back the only man she loved
I know you don't do it usually
But dear Lord, she's dying to dance with my father again.

    Every night I fall asleep
And this is all I ever dream...

    i miss my daddy.

    the old days were dandy.
